The Problem
The customer was looking to update his tired and dated kitchen. As part of a bigger kitchen refurbishment the customer wanted to replace his kitchen worktops with a modern contemporary design. The kitchen had a large island in the centre which consisted of units with a large dated granite worktop on top that dominated the room.
Our Solution
Our clients had seen our unique design worktops and splashbacks on social media. They were aware of the unique nature of epoxy resin, allowing us to create bespoke, and unique pieces of furniture including the kitchen worktops that they were looking for. After giving an initial quote remotely after seeing the kitchen photographs, the designer attended site for a few days to create this epoxy resin worktop near Wickford Essex. Firstly the original stone worktop was primed, after which a skilled, hand crafted design was created using the colours of the customers choosing along with the advice of our designer. Using mastered epoxy resin techniques this large geode style design was created, followed by a matt sealer coat to protect the design and give resistance to scratches.
