Epoxy resin bar top in Hastings – Cocktail bar top renovation and resurfacing with this stunning bespoke epoxy resin bar top design in rich copper and a super gloss resin finish.
The Problem
After successfully completing 3 other bespoke bar top renovations for this commercial customer in East Sussex, we were commissioned to repair and resurface this circular bar top in Hastings. It had clearly seen better days, with the top panelling lifting, pealing and warping. Also with a tight deadline to achieve prior to the bar relaunch post covid restrictions, however we love creating unique epoxy resin bar tops and was no trouble at all to meet the clients requirements.
Our Solution

We planned a week into the schedule at a convenient time when the client could ensure no other building work was being done which would be creating dust as we would need to complete this work in situ.
Day 1 – We had to make sound the existing bar top surface to make level and able to accommodate the new epoxy resin bar top in Hastings. We then made a new circular MDF worktop base and primed it ready for the epoxy resin design to be created on top
Day 2 – Created a super stylish epoxy resin bar top design to compliment the refurbishment that was taking place in a gorgeous rich copper.
Day 3 – Applied super gloss coat (under customers request – other option is matt finish)
Curing time 48hrs
The customer was delighted and we are excited to work with them again on further projects.
